Defining AI Governance Foundation/Library

The AI Governance Foundation provides the predefined library to perform assessments for each AI Inventory or AI project, which consists of multiple AI Inventory records. The AI Governance team can perform end-to-end assessments using the predefined library records. The following AI Library applications act as a repository for regulatory requirements:

  • AI Obligation Catalog

  • AI Controls Library

  • AI Conformity Assessment Catalog

  • AI Conformity Assessments Question Library

Defining AI Governance for Readiness

The AI Governance use case and its applications allow you to do the following:

  • The AI Use Case Requests application captures AI use case details, performs initial screenings, passes through the review workflow and, once approved, has data feeds create an AI Inventory.

  • The AI Inventory application handles the gathering of use case details by associating the Enterprise Catalog, the business focused risk assessment, and the workflow review process, as well as act as an umbrella for all associated AI Models.

  • The AI Project application helps companies organize their AI features and projects in one area and helps to organize the workflow and data around a specific project. AI Project allows you to create or monitor AI Requests and AI Inventories by associating multiple records that are a part of a project.

Managing Model Inventory

The Model Inventory application lets you manage the AI Governance through its regulation process. You can create and define the Model Inventory by associating a Model Inventory record with an AI Inventory or AI Project. The Model Inventory application helps an AI Governance team perform multiple assessments for projects. Using the Model Inventory application, users can do the following:

  • Document key information such as approach, regulation, risk level, and related stakeholders, along with model name, description and type.

  • Generate AI Risk Assessments with data feeds.

  • Create and perform AI Privacy Impact Assessments.

  • Link AI Allocated Obligations and AI Allocated Controls to Model Inventory records using data feeds.

  • Generate and perform Conformity Assessments.

  • Verify approved Change Requests records from the Model Change Requests field.

  • Complete model usage and related models details.

  • Perform model validation.

  • Monitor performance using metrics.
