My sysadmin credentials are correct, but AIM will not allow me to claim an instance. How do I add my instance into AIM?

The most common reasons for authentication failure are:

  • Enabling Single Sign-on (SSO) and not allowing manual login.

  • Using your AIM credentials instead of your sysadmin credentials.

When you add your instance into AIM, you can temporarily deactivate both trusted IPs and manual login.
