Using the Archer ESG Use Cases for CSRD Reporting

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), adopted by the European Union, expands the scope of sustainability reporting, requiring more companies to disclose detailed ESG data. Reporting must align with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), which set the framework for disclosures. While CSRD sets the mandate and regulation for sustainability reporting, ESRS provides the structured methodology to meet those requirements.

How Archer enables CSRD reporting

To complete end-to-end CSRD reporting, you must have 3 Archer use cases:

  • ESG Management

  • Double Materiality Calculator

  • Disclosure Management

You complete different parts of the overall process in each use case.

The following diagram shows the overall process for complying with CSRD and which Archer use case covers each process.
