Archer Platform 6.14 Patch 1 Release Notes

Archer announces the release of Archer 6.14 Patch 1, which includes new and updated features.

What's New - Platform

  • Korean language support

    Archer 6.14 Patch 1 and later supports the Korean language.

    For additional information see Korean Language Support in 6.14 Patch 1.

    To use the Korean locale with the Korean language in your instance, you must manually assign the locale to the Korean language, if it is not already auto-assigned.

    If your Archer instance already uses a pre-existing language named Korean, the default System Language is labeled as Korean (Archer System Language).

  • Transitioning from 'RSA' Branding Update.

    Archer Folder Name

    • For new Archer installations of release 6.14 Patch 1 and later releases, the RSAArcher folder in file paths has been changed to Archer. For example: c:\program\Archer

    • For upgrades of Archer, the RSAArcher folder renames unchanged. For example: c:\program\RSAArcher

    Certificate names. All Archer-related certificates that reference RSA have been updated to reference Archer.

    Windows Control Panel program listing. The software name has been updated from RSA Archer to Archer.

    RSA Community links. All community.rsa.com links have been updated to community.archerirm.com links.

    Important: You may need to adjust your system monitoring due to changes in the certificate names, Windows Control Panel program listing, and Archer Community links.

  • Packaging between environments of different versions. Archer SaaS and Hosted environments now allow packages created in non-production environments running Archer 6.14.0.1 and later to be installed in production environments running earlier versions of Archer.

  • Mapping. Mapbox has been updated with the following capabilities:

    • Filter data layers from within the Mapbox widget.

    • Include dashboards with Mapbox widgets in generated packages.

    • Limit the number of pins to 600 on maps to ensure maximum performance of Mapbox.

  • On-Demand Notifications now include From addresses. Archer On-demand notifications now allow administrators to include From addresses for system-generated on-demand notifications.

Archer recommends that on-premise customers apply the latest update. All releases are cumulative.

Important: If you are running Archer Release 6.2 or earlier, you must first upgrade to Archer Release 6.8 and then upgrade to this latest release. To obtain Release 6.8, please contact your account representative or open a support case.
