Archer announces the release of Archer 6.14 Patch 2, which includes feature enhancements.

What's New - Platform

  • Smart Data Publications (SDP). SDP has been updated to include the option of Relational File Schema, which provides an output file structure similar to that of Data Publications.

    This feature is only available for Archer SaaS deployments.

    The following table lists the column names that are adjusted to match the Relational output format of Data Publications.

  • Job Server Cleanup in ACP. Archer Administrators can now delete decommissioned servers using the ACP. See the Help topic, “Configuring the Job Engine Manager” for more information.

  • Dashboards

    • You can delete personal dashboards. These dashboards remain visible to the user who created them, and can only be deleted by that user.

    • Users can now copy a dashboard link to the clipboard.

  • Application Builder. On Application Builder pages, selected filters and non-default columns persist across multiple login sessions when using the same browser and machine.

  • User Preferences.

    • The User Preference menu includes an About Archer option that displays a pop-up with the current instance information.

    • The Global Header includes an increased company logo size, for more visibility.

  • Excel Export - Audit Workpaper. Audit Workpaper records are exported with Content IDs of Applications, Cross-Reference fields, and Sub-Form fields to ensure a smoother Workpaper import process.

Archer recommends that on-premises customers apply the latest update. All releases are cumulative.

Important: If you are running Archer Release 6.2 or earlier, you must first upgrade to Archer Release 6.8 and then upgrade to this latest release. To obtain Release 6.8, please contact your account representative or open a support case.
