Integration with Evolv Compliance

Evolv Compliance is Archer’s AI-powered regulatory intelligence platform designed to simplify how organizations stay compliant with constantly changing regulations. The platform provides:

  • A comprehensive regulatory change library that's continuously updated with global and industry-specific regulatory content.

  • AI-enhanced parsing and analysis, which identifies regulatory obligations, detects themes, and structures requirements for easier review.

  • Automated obligation extraction (when licensed with Evolv Compliance Professional), allowing organizations to quickly identify the specific requirements they must meet.

  • Automated mapping to internal controls (when licensed with Evolv Compliance Enterprise) so organizations can quickly determine coverage and gaps.

Evolv Compliance transforms dense, complex regulatory updates into organized, actionable insights that seamlessly feed your Archer compliance program.

Main Integration Points

  • Regulatory alerts can populate into regulatory intelligence items.

    • This enables users to review data from Evolv Compliance, determine an impact assessment, and follow up on actions for regulatory change management. This is an optional integration that is available on the Archer Exchange.

  • Citations are automatically populated from the law library

    • When integrated, Evolv Compliance becomes the system of record for regulatory content in Archer.

    • The law library from Evolv Compliance pushes regulatory information directly into the Citations application.

    • The law library is filtered based on the business profile definition.

    • Each citation record includes metadata, document hierarchy, publication, and source details

    • Citations are self-referencing. Each section and sub-section are unique records that are connected using a cross reference to another citation

    • Important citations should be marked as Reportable to show on reports and dashboards.

  • Automated creation of obligations and sub-obligations (Evolv Professional and Enterprise only)

    • Obligations that are extracted from documents in Evolv compliance are automatically ported into the Obligations and Sub-Obligations applications.

    • Sub-obligations are created as more granular requirement components and are typically exact text.

  • Automated control mapping (Evolv Enterprise Only)

    • Controls from Evolv map to sub-obligations, though controls mapped at the obligation level also report properly.

  • AI-Generated Controls (Evolv Enterprise Only)

    • Any controls suggested by Evolv input into the AI-Generated Controls application.

    • Within Archer, a data feed ports AI-generated controls into the controls application and marks them as Proposed.

    • If clients have customized control applications, they can adjust the data feed from AI-Generated controls to controls to properly map fields.

Evolv Compliance Data Feeds

These data feeds support the integration between the Evolv Compliance platform and Archer. They automatically bring in regulatory content, extracted obligations, AI-generated controls, and associated mappings. These feeds should run on a schedule and should not be modified without careful planning.

This feed is meant to assure proper mapping is in place regardless of timing issue. Ensures AI-generated controls remain linked to their related obligations if content arrives out of order. Prevents unlinked mappings.
