Registering Your Bing Maps Account for Configuring Trusted IP Addresses for an Instance

By default, this option is not configured. To use this functionality, you must purchase a mapping license from Microsoft and obtain a list of IP addresses from Microsoft Bing Maps.

Register your Bing Maps account for configuring trusted IP addresses for an instance

1. On the General tab, go to the Microsoft Mapping Connection section.

   1. Open the Archer Control Panel.
   2. From the Instance Management list, double-click the instance.
2. In the Application Key field, enter the application key for the mapping license purchased from Microsoft for the Bing Maps account.
3. In the Use Secure Connection field, verify the checkbox selected if the service requires a secure connection.
4. Click the Test Connection link to test the mapping connection.
5. On the toolbar, click Save.
