Accelerators

Accelerators provide prebuilt use case configurations enhancing usability for specific industries, geographies, and more. Accelerators enhance out-of-the-box Archer use cases and provide configurations for a use case that specializes the use case for a specific industry or geographical need.

App-Packs

App-Packs provide prebuilt applications addressing adjacent or supporting integrated risk management (IRM) processes. App-Packs are built in a similar fashion to Archer’s out-of-the-box use cases, but they are smaller and are intended to address a very specific risk issue that addresses an industry, geographic, or niche need.

App-Packs are either licensed offerings or they utilize on-demand applications.

The following table describes the differences between Use Cases and App-Packs.

For more information regarding definitions and terminology for policies, control standards, authoritative sources and more, see Policy Program Management Use Case Design in the Archer Solutions Help.

Integrations

Integrations offer prebuilt data exchange configurations to bring data into and push data out of the Archer Platform. Archer provides a large variety of pre-built integrations to integrate risk data from a variety of technology providers.

Integrations sometimes require the addition of a licensed on-demand application to augment the integration business process. Please review the Archer Exchange integration offering overview for specific details.

Tools & Utilities

Tools & Utilities provide prebuilt functions enabling administrators to manage their Archer Platform implementation more easily or simplify the user's experience. They typically enhance Archer Platform capabilities not currently available to improve and simplify the administrator experience. In most cases, they are generic enough that any customer could use the offerings with little to no customization.

Tools & Utilities are either licensed offerings or utilize on-demand applications.
