Using Archer IRM Mobile app

The Archer Mobile app enables you to complete Archer tasks from your mobile device.

The Archer IRM Mobile app supports ADFS, and SAML 2.0 based SSO and manual login.

To log in to the Archer IRM Mobile app, you need your Archer instance information (URL, instance, and possibly domain). Once the instance information is validated, you can log in either manually or via SSO. If you are an SSO user, you may have to select an identity provider to log in.

You can only have 1 active connection to Archer at a time. If you are already logged in to the web application, logging in to the mobile app ends your previous session.

If your administrator has defined a range of IP addresses that have access to Archer (trusted IP addresses), the Archer IRM Mobile API ensures that untrusted incoming IPs do not have access to Archer. Your devices should be on a network that has a range of IP addresses that can be trusted. Contact your network administrator for further assistance.

When you first log in to the app, the Tasks List page is displayed. On this page, you can view all your assigned records from applications that are enabled for mobile use.

The Tasks List page displays the record title, description, and due date for each record.

The tasks are grouped into sections based on the due date:

  • Overdue tasks are displayed at the top.
  • Tasks that are due today are displayed in the middle.
  • Upcoming tasks are displayed at the bottom.

Each section can be collapsed and expanded.

You can refresh the Tasks List by pulling down on the page.

Only the title and descriptions of tasks that are already loaded on your phone are searched.

View Records

From the Tasks List page, tap a record to open the Record page.

Note: If another user is already working in that record, you receive a "record locked" error message. Try the record again later.

On the Record page, only the fields that are defined in the mobile layouts of the application are viewable on your mobile device. Tap Show More to view any truncated fields. Swipe left and right to view more Values List values.

You can modify any editable fields on the Record page.
