Activating and Deactivating Languages
You must activate a language to use it in Archer. When the language is no longer used, you can deactivate it.

Activate a language

Go to the Manage Languages page.
- From the menu, click

- Under Globalization, click Languages.
- From the menu, click
- Select the language you want to activate.
- In the Options section, click Active.
- Click Save.
Deactivate a language
Important: Deactivating a language prevents the rendering of any translations tied to it. Instead, the system renders the design language. You cannot deactivate a language if it functions as a design language anywhere in Archer.

Go to the Manage Languages page.
- From the menu, click

- Under Globalization, click Languages.
- From the menu, click
- Select the language you want to deactivate.
- In the Options section, clear the Active status.
- Click Save.
