Creating & Managing Dashboards

Dashboards are groups of widgets with related content that can be reused in multiple workspaces. They are configured to meet a specific user group's need.
Existing dashboards display on the Manage Dashboards page, where you can access, edit, and delete them.
This video shows you the basics of creating and managing dashboards.

Add a dashboard

From the menu, click
> Workspaces and Dashboards > Dashboards.

Click

In the Add New dialog box, select Dashboard from the drop-downand click Add New.

Complete the screen to create your dashboard.

Edit dashboards

Open the dashboard:

From the
menu, click Workspaces and Dashboards > Dashboards. Select the dashboard that you want to edit on the Manage Dashboards page.

From the
menu, locate and open the dashboard, click
> Edit Dashboard.

Edit the dashboard as needed.

Export a dashboard
You can export a dashboard (WYSIWYG), either as a PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint (PPTX) file.

Open the dashboard that you want to export, click
.

Select either PDF or PPT.
Copy a page link to a dashboard
You can copy a page link to a dashboard and share it with users having relevant access.

From the
menu, go to the workspace with the dashboard whose page link you want to copy.

Open the dashboard. Click
.
The page link to the dashboard is copied to the clipboard.
Remove a dashboard from a workspace
Removing a dashboard from a workspace does not delete it from the dashboard database. The widgets associated with the dashboard are not deleted. You can only permanently delete dashboards if you have been granted administrative permission.

From the menu, click
> Workspaces and Dashboards > Workspaces.

Select the workspace that contains the dashboard that you want to remove.

On the Manage Workspaces page, click the Dashboards tab.

In the Actions column of the dashboard you want to remove, click
.

Click Save.
Delete a dashboard
You can only permanently delete dashboards if you have been granted administrative permission.

From the menu, click
> Workspaces and Dashboards > Dashboards.

In the Actions column of the dashboard you want to delete, click
.

Click Yes.
Note: This action does not delete the widgets and reports associated with that dashboard.
