Importing Data into a Questionnaire

You can use the Data Import feature to import data into a questionnaire from an external data file. This is a great way to prepopulate questionnaire records with data from a previous assessment campaign, enabling end users to simply update their previous answers rather than filling out a new questionnaire record.

The data import process for a questionnaire is exactly the same as the process for applications. Because questionnaire records must be linked to a target application, a reference to the target application content record must be included in the external data file when creating new questionnaire records.
