Working with Records Enrolled in Workflow (Classic)

You can use the Workflow toolbar to decide what to do with a submitted record. The workflow tracker displays a maximum of 4 stages in the workflow. When there are more than 4 stages, ellipses display before or after the current step. To view details about each stage, click Details.

Accept a task record

  1. Go to the application that contains the record that you want to update.

    1. From the menu, click the solution.
    2. From the applications list, click the application.
    3. Select the record.
  2. Review the record.
  3. Click the Actions button and select Accept to accept the record and move it to the next stage in the Workflow process.

Reject a task record and enter a comment

  1. Go to the application that contains the record that you want to update.

    1. From the menu, click the solutionmenu.
    2. Click the solution.
    3. From the applications list, click the application.
    4. Select the record.
  2. Review the record.
  3. Click the Actions button and select Reject to reject the record and demote it to the previous stage in the Workflow process.
  4. Click Comment to leave a comment describing your decision for rejection.

Reassign a task record

  1. Go to the application that contains the record that you want to update.

    1. From the menu, click the solution.
    2. From the applications list, click the application.
    3. Select the record.
  2. Review the record.
  3. Click the Actions button and select Reassign to reassign the record to another user or group.
  4. Select the user or group and click OK.

View the history of a task record

  1. Go to the application that contains the record that you want to update.

    1. From the menu, click the solution.
    2. From the applications list, click the application.
    3. Select the record.
  2. Review the record.
  3. Click the Actions button and select History to view a history of the record in the Workflow process.
